Just make sure the utensil you’ve chosen to make your matcha in, has the space to allow some heavy whisking.
It doesn’t have to be too big, just enough space to move the whisk rigorously.
Unfortunately, there aren’t many alternatives available for a sieve. So you can use a kitchen strainer if you have one (you probably do).
Replace the Chawan with a teacup or cereal bowl, the whisk with a milk frother or blender, the Chasaku with a teaspoon and the sieve with a kitchen strainer and enjoy your matcha in minutes!
